今回は、大崎上島の北西部にある『大串厳島神社』を紹介します。 

訪れたのは4月の土曜日の朝。桜も散って、少しずつ夏を感じる季節になってきました。早朝、大串の海岸沿いを歩いていると、朝日を浴びた静か

な景色が広がっていて、とても気持ちのいい時間でした。歩いているうちに「大串厳島神社」に着き、近くで由緒板を見つけました。神社の由来や地域に伝わる伝説が丁寧に書かれていて、興味を引かれました。

知らなかった話がたくさんあって、「もっと知りたい」と自然に思えたのが印象的です。 

朝の澄んだ空気の中で、静かな神社を訪れるのはとても良い体験でした。 

大崎上島を訪れた際には、少し早起きをして、朝の散歩がてら大串厳島神社まで足を運んでみてください。 

その静けさと美しさが、きっと一日を優しく彩ってくれるはずです。 

Hello, and welcome to our youth island blog!  

This time, we will be introducing the Ōkushi Itsukushima Shrine, located in the northwestern part of Osakikamijima!  

It was early on an April morning when we visited the shrine. The cherry blossoms had already fallen, and it felt like we were approaching the beginning of summer. We felt calm and pleasant watching the still ocean, when walking along the Ōkushi beach. After a few minutes, we arrived at the Ōkushi Itsukushima Shrine, and found a board outlining the history behind the shrine.

We felt even more connected to the island and its history when we read the historical board. There are still many things to discover and learn about the island, so come with us on the journey of exploring Osakikamijima!
