We are Yuka So and Saya Imai, third generation students from the Hiroshima Global Academy. Directing our focus on Osakikamijma, we aim to spread the island’s fascinating charms!

From this year, we will be using social media to further connect the island and people globally!

今年度から、InstagramやTikTokを用いたショート動画配信も検討中！？

🍊 Personal introduction　自己紹介🍊

宋友嘉(そうゆうか)です！

中国にルーツを持ち、幼少期は日本と中国を行き来していました。2021年、中学一年生の時に初めて大崎上島に来てから、地域の方の温かさを知り、より多くの人に島の魅力を知ってもらいたいと思うようになりました。青春島旅ブログでは主に日本語での執筆を担当し、沙耶と一緒に全力で楽しめる時間にしたいです！

My name is Yuka So! Because of my roots in China, I used to travel between Japan and China often. Since 2021, I have been living in Osakikamijima, and through the warmth I have felt within the community here, I began to be enthusiastic in advocating for Osakikamijima. In this blog, I will be focusing on writing the articles in Japanese. I hope to enjoy this journey along with Saya!

今井沙耶(いまいさや)です！

広島県出身ですが、人生の大半を南アフリカとカナダで過ごしました。昨年４月の高校入学時に初めて大崎上島へ来た際、島の美しさに圧倒され、世界の人々に魅力を発信していきたいと思いました。海外で積んだ経験を活かして、大好きな広島をより多くの海外の方に発信できるように全力で頑張ります！

Hello everyone, my name is Saya Imai!

Although I was born in Hiroshima, most of my life was spent living in South Africa and Canada. Last April, I moved to Osakikamijima to begin high school, and ever since, I have been amazed by the abundant nature here. Through my experiences living abroad, and love for Hiroshima, I hope to be able to spread the fascinating aspects of the island to many people globally!
