Hello everyone, and welcome to the latest blog entry for the Seifukan Island Travel Blog!
Today’s entry we will be featuring a chic island retreat café, Iwasaki Noen Cafe! This café is located near the beach and whilst it may be a little hard to find, it is marked by a vibrant yellow curtain portraying the warm atmosphere that lies inside the cafe.
The concept of the store is “a place that can bring you a happy lemon ride home,” which highlights the natural atmosphere of the interior of the store, created by the warm, homely use of wooden architecture and the abundancy of plant life.
We believe this place is somewhere you must visit if you want to enjoy your time chatting with friends or if you’re looking for a quiet comforting atmosphere to delve into a novel! After all, the warm ambiance makes it perfect for a variety of occasions.
The cafe’s main attraction is its menu, which uses fresh fruits and ingredients from farms in Hiroshima Prefecture and Osakikamijima. From sweets made with strawberries in the spring to shaved ice made by farmers in the summer, a variety of sweets are available at the store, allowing you to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime taste that truly matches the season.
You will always be able to taste the wonderful sweets at any time of the year!
When we visited Iwasaki Farm Cafe in late September, an autumn sweets fair was being held, with pies and tarts made with chestnuts from Osakikamijima and parfaits made with Shine Muscat on sale. Along with my three friends, I paid a visit to this picturesque café and ordered a chestnut and sweet potato parfait, a grape parfait, and a waffle plate, accompanied by some delectable canelés.
We decided to share them between ourselves, and it’s safe to say they were mouth-wateringly delicious. The chestnut and sweet potato parfait I ordered had a rich chestnut flavor and gave me an early taste of autumn. Whilst the grape parfait and waffle plates provided a fresh crispy taste, leaving you desperate for more!
The wonderful atmosphere and delicious sweets made for a very satisfying time, both for my heart, and for my stomach. We highly recommend this spot for a girls’ day out or a get-together with friends.
This café is open on the second and fourth weekends of each month. So, why not visit on a weekend to freshen up?

今日私たちが取り上げるのは島の隠れ家的おしゃれカフェ、岩崎農園カフェです！このカフェは海辺に位置しており、少し見つけづらいかもしれませんが、素敵な黄色の暖簾が目印です。
「幸せなレモンの帰りをお届けできる店」という店のコンセプトにもあるように、店内は木の温もりが感じられるナチュラルな雰囲気です。
友達とおしゃべりを楽しむのもよし、一人で読書を楽しむのも良し！さまざまなシーンにピッタリです。
このカフェの1番の魅力は広島県の農園や大崎上島の新鮮なフルーツや食材を使ったメニューです。春はイチゴを使ったスイーツから夏は農家の作るかき氷まで、さまざまなスイーツたちが店頭に並び、まさに季節にあった一期一会の味を楽しめるようになっています。
いつ行っても素敵なスイーツを味わえることでしょう！
私達が岩崎農園カフェに訪れた9月下旬は、秋のスイーツフェアが開催されており、大崎上島産の栗を使ったパイやタルト、そしてシャインマスカットを使ったパフェが販売されていました。友達四人で訪れた私たちは、栗とさつまいものパフェ、葡萄のパフェ、そしてワッフルプレートを頼み、それぞれカヌレを一つずつオーダーしました。
どれも本当に美味しくて、みんなでシェアしながら食べました。私が頼んだ栗とさつまいものパフェは濃厚な栗の風味が楽しめて、一足早く秋の味覚を味わうことができました。
素敵な雰囲気と美味しいスイーツで、心もお腹も大満足の時間を過ごしました。女子会や友達との集まりにぜひおすすめのスポットです。
月の第二と第四の週末にオープンしているので、週末にはリフレッシュするために訪れてはどうでしょう？！
